Hello, my name is Meaghan Pohozoff.
I was born in beautiful Victoria, B.C., where I lived until commencing post secondary schooling at the University of Calgary. I have been teaching Pre-K at IREC for four years.

Being a teacher is the greatest privilege and adventure of my life thus far! Working to support every child’s overall development, being the facilitator of initial school-based learning opportunities, creating meaningful relationships with families, and collaborating with fellow educators are among the many reasons I love being a Pre-K teacher.

Hello, my name is Randi Schindel.
I am so pleased to be a Bright Futures Play Academy teacher again this year in Rimbey. This is my third year with Bright Futures through Wolf Creek Public Schools and I am so excited to be working in the early childhood setting.

I love teaching Pre-K because children at this age are so curious, bright, lively and FUN! I can’t wait to spend the year playing, learning, and growing with my students.

Hello, my name is Amber Harke.

As the Pre-K teacher for Bright Futures Play Academy at Eckville Elementary, we learn through exploration, song, movement, and play. I’m a passionate educator that believes that life and learning should be an adventure. I believe that the goal of all education should be to inspire students to develop a lifelong love of learning.

I live in Lacombe with my husband, Tyler, our seven year old son, Trail, and our German Shepherd, Shep. I love to travel, hike, read, camp, ski, and spend time at the lake with my family. I am a lover of nature, sports, dogs, coffee and books.

“If we wait to intervene until children are in school or even adults, we miss out on the most promising opportunities to create better outcomes for our children. This means that investing wisely in those first five years of life will yield a wide range of dividends for our collective benefit.”
